My Account and Appointments IACT This interactive communication program uses graphics, animation and morphing to educate you during your first visit. Using IACT along with an easy to understand verbal message you will have a complete understanding of your orthodontic problems and treatment recommendations. We find that the better informed you are, the better your orthodontic experience will be. Sterilization and Infection Control Systems Our sterilization systems and barrier controls meet or exceed guidelines established by OSHA and the CDC. All instruments, including handpieces, are heat and/or chemically sterilized after each use. Our sterilization techniques are verified by an independent biological monitoring service on a daily basis. We have instituted water line disinfection to prevent potential bacterial contamination. We do not wait to use improved sterilization techniques when it becomes law, but initiate them when we feel it is beneficial.
